I can't really decide because Bon Jovi don't play the whole song, maybe just a minute of a 6 minute song. When they play it, they just throw it into "Keep the Faith" as a kind of medley so that's why there isn't a Bon Jovi VERSION of "Sympathy". Or would you say there is a Bon Jovi version of "Papa was a Rolling Stone"? It's a bit different with "Shout" or "Jumpin' Jack Flash". There also are part of a medley, but they stand muchmore on their own when BJ play it... Ah, I don't know if you get my point, BJ do Sympathy in a "relaxed" way, not representing the song as a unit... (confused, isn't it)
But, I love it when they do it in KTF and just the way they do it (relaxed)! It just makes the song more exciting, together with the jungle screams.
The Gn'R version is pretty good. You can't say it's the same as the Stones Version, Gn'R play it much more aggressive, much more guitars, much more drums etc. And it's longer if I remember it well...
