So stop listening to his interviews. Stop reading articles.
You're so quick to find fault with the man. Beyond the normal faults we all have - it's like a sick sport. No wonder the band doesn't do meet & greets.

1. A false statement deliberately presented as being true; a falsehood.
2. Something meant to deceive or give a wrong impression
3. To present false information with the intention of deceiving.

LEARN THE DIFFERENCE.
ONLY PEOPLE LOOKING TO FIND INTENTIONAL DECEIPT ON THE PART OF JON (you know... SATAN) CAN APPLY THIS VERB.
Using the word is not innocent and it's not funny... it's symptomatic of a general disposition towards Jon and the band... Choose your words wisely.
