The wonderful Ms. Courtney Love

Anyone knows the context of this? I remember reading that she used to be a huge fan and would always have a JBJ poster in her dressing room in the early years of her career...

Anyhow - thought I'd share

She didn't like Jon's song Lonely At The Top, which was about her husband's suicide and mentioned her daughter by name.

And this is why she told someone to **** themselves with Eddie Vedder's dildo?

Yes -- but it's nothing that looking at how she was portrayed in the Something For The Pain video can't cure, LOL!

Teach me to read the title without opening the thread. Feel kinda dirty now, and I´m down one Bon Jovi shirt.

It's why she's not too fond of Jon, though he did publicly support her back in 1990:
Quote:
Destructoid.com: ...Courtney Love is planning to sue Activision for turning Kurt Cobain's corpse into a... likeness... perform(ing) contemporary pop songs...

"I don't know that I would have wanted it either," said Mr. Bon Jovi..."To hear someone else's voice coming out of a cartoon version of me?...(T)hey wanted me to be on that game and I just passed...(N)o one even broached the subject with me that I would be singing other people's stuff. I don't know how I would have reacted to that."
Who knows why she's sore at Vedder? She punched somebody during Lollapalooza 1995, and has crossed swords with everyone from Gwen Stefani (who allegedly wrote Hollaback Girl about her) to Trent Reznor ("lousylaylousylaylousylay") to Limp Bizkit (she pulled out of a gig rather than play in front of them) to Dave Grohl (for allegedly hitting on her then 19-year-old daughter!)

This just in: It turns out Cobain never thought very much of Pearl Jam -- but it's more likely that he looked at Vedder as a pretender to his throne:
Quote:
...(A)fter Nirvana had broken through...Kurt Cobain famously denounced their closest competitors, Pearl Jam...(as) “a corporate, alternative and cock-rock fusion.” ...(But) he eventually explained...that he had gotten to know Eddie Vedder a bit and liked him...In fact, the pair even slow-danced together before the year was out...
