I very much doubt this heroin-addled widow of a suicide having been occupied with a b-side of a Bon Jovi single. There's a difference to your take on how she might have taken offense as opposed to how things really took place. Just because you seem so insistent on connecting some dots here just to spark up some controversy doesn't mean it was actually there in the first place.

Unless she took offense for exposing her daughter publicly in a song which i seriously doubt, I see nothing wrong with those lyrics.

Jon went through his grey summer and could relate to feeling lonely at the top. His wife talked him out of jumping from a car at one point. Jon also had Stephanie around that time and as a new father in the music business with a similar depressed past, it deeply hit him hard.

I also don't think the something for the pain video is something to take offence to either. It was similar to an SNL or South Park spoof. For someone to take offence to a Bon Jovi video, they must be a real stickler. When grunge hit, Bon Jovi was the front of all thier jokes so he gave a fraction back in return. Whatever, it was funny, move on.....

Sensible people have the strength to welcome constructive criticism and the courage to laugh at themselves. Courtney's "track record" indicates that the biggest sin you can commit against her is not be in awe of her "star quality" -- most of which, very unfortunately for her, she borrows from a husband who killed himself.

Maybe that's why she once stormed offstage when a fan held up a picture of Kurt: I guess it didn't occur to her that the fan was trying to show respect. And if I ever found myself having to play in front a band that I felt was my inferior, I wouldn't pull out of the gig -- I would go out there and blow them off the stage.

Two years ago, Courtney's daughter took out a restraining order against her. And as for Dre and Snoop Dogg, maybe they weren't offended by the Something For The Pain video because it didn't have them coming out of lipstick tubes and flashing thong underwear!
