sounds like a way for the promoters to get your phone number so they can text you annoying ads on your phone.

If its only for before the show, at least its a little fun for people while they're waiting (and if they hate the rolling stones or something).. But if its on during the show, Then it's absolutely stupid. You're here to watch/listen to the concert, not text "I LOVE YOU A.G AND I MISS YOU LOTS!!!" or "I HAD A NICE DAY!! HEHEHE HOW COOL AM I??" ... It's just another method for mobile phone companies to take your money.
