I thought he looked fantastic at live earth. His stint in recuperation must have helped. He looked more alive than he has the last few years, and I just hope they can keep that energy up for the tour...

His playing seems to have changed to me. He seems more aggressive on the neck, and is hitting squealing, powerful notes a la the eighties. Not all the time, but look at the Live Eart performaces, the 02, Summerfest.... hes got better in terms of his playing at least.

His voice is as good as ever, if a bit raw, which is a good and a bad thing.

I think he's been drinking for a long while and can he now stay sober I think we will se more and more of that old time good guitar playing he's capable of at his best.
