knowledgeable in what fields? jon's day to day life .... ? well no - the 80s stuff even down to some of the dialogue during certain speeches in certain shows (real anorak stuff)... then yes i am

other rock music as a whole pre-90s - i'd like to think i'm pretty up to scratch... and with a few bands i can give you many things in extreme detail
