But no one has mentioned that - hey - we r getting another album in 3 months followed by a box-set!!!!

That is following 3 tours in 2000 & 2 albums.

Maybe ppl don't like where they're going, but they're still putting the effort in & I am happy that I've got still got the chance to buy, see & complain about stuff.

Mike
Mke - that's just it. you can't please all of the people all of the time. They moan when they don't get an album for 5 years then when three come along at once, it still is not good enough! Kinda like busses I guess!!

Mike, I agree. I am excited about the new album and box set. But I am a Backstager
I love acoustic Bon Jovi- I really think the casual fan will get to see a side of the band they are not aware of. I think their acoustic performances really show what talented musicians and songwriters they are. Ok, enough gushing

Hehe - I knew this post would be a mistake.... It is attracting the backstagers

Fair point though - BJ r often insulted for their brash, not so clever, eighties cliched rock....

It will be interesting to see what the critics make of this!

Maybe even the MTV Unplugged albums (we r on about 3 I think - will remember who started it!!)

No I know you'll be hating me for that but why should I be positive???

I waited 5 years for Crush and I really tought I'd get onme of the best albums ever. What did i get?CRAP!
I waited forever for a Live album from one of the greatest bands that ever played on this planet. What did I get?A compilation ,you can't call an album having ABSOLUTELY NOTHING memorable on it.
Than I said ok,9/11 will have a good influence and Jon said this album will rock hard? What did I get?BOUNCE(that's enaugh).

Why should i be positve? An acoustic album?A box set?
The guys disappointed me 3 times so I can't be positive. I can't say: "Hey,3 mistakes. The guys rock!I love them? And the next 2 albums will be great!" It's ridicoulouse to be postive just because there is nothing to be positive about.I really think Bon Jovi died. I hope I'm wrong but they are dead!

I think you are spoiling the topic and did not understand the meaning behind this topic at all.

What do you mean I should go on?

I really think Bon jovi until 1996 was the biggest band in the world. I got 6 amazing albums better than most other albums I have heard. I still think noone but Bon jovi could have ever realeased such good music.
Why should i move on than because I won't find better music. i'm stuck with this band and if i'll evr find someone that has a bigger impact on me i promise "i'll move on" but i don't see it happening. The music that is around today is crap i don't like it at all. the 70s bands and the 80s bands don't bring albums out.So how do you imagine me to move on.

Your post was just STUPID,sorry to say that!
