Default the 3 stages of BJ

i have notice that the bon jovi double decade is filled with twists and turns especially considering Jons voice

the 1st stage- high pitched, loud screaming but controlled! (BJ to NJ)

2nd stage- rough, slow paced tone with meaning ( KTF to DA)

3rd stage - ery rough low pitched indecisive voice trying to find its roots (Crush to TLFR)

my question what is your favourite stage and which is your favourite album???

ktf gaz

ahh, gaz. what a guy.

to answer the ''question'' i think Jon was at his peak mid 90's on the cross road/these days tour live. loved the whole band image back then, not an air brush in sight.
but i guess nothing beats Jons voice from the NJ era, like i have a bootleg of Blood on Blood live, a 9min 45secs epic version and Jon (and richie backing vocals) are on fire

JBJ - I believe

My favourite tour is without a doubt These Days 95/96. The band were natural rockers with a bit rugged and still modern style. Absolutely perfect both musically and attitude wise. I think it's a bit too much style now with less rock & roll attitude than earlier years.
My favourite album I can't choose, I have two of them, TD and KTF. Best vocal performances ever done, great rock songs. I wish I could re-live that time again......

80's - fun, high-pitched punk kid stuff

90's - consenting adult, strong honey and whiskey voice, with an edge of punk attitude (Favorite)

2000 - Mature, rough edge voice - light weight lyrics-somethings missing.....

My favorite album is Bounce, but on the whole, I like the 80s style the best. I wish I could have been old enough to appreciate that decade when it was still current. Still, even though the only album I like in BJ's current era is Bounce, I still consider this decade to be MY Bon Jovi. I may not be the biggest Crush fan, but It's My Life is my favorite song.

well NJ is prbably my favourite album lyrically but I can hear that Jons voice struggles with some of the songs, Ill be there , blood on blood.

I guess td + ktf is perhaps his best vocal sound of control

I personally think of your 1st stage as two different stages.

1st - BJ-7800
2nd- SWW-NJ

There is definately a difference in those styles.
