my question what is your favourite stage and which is your favourite album???

ktf gaz
Well...you don't know what you are talking about you stupid kid. BJ and 7800 have completly different "voice types" compared to the other 2 80s albums. After 7800 the "loud screams" have become occasional and i wouldn't say they are a characteristic of NJ and SWW. They kept on coming live but not on albums.

However, this type of loud screams have come back on These Days and Keep The Faith but better and as you said CONTROLLED.They weren't controlled at all on BJ or 7800.The tone has indeed got rougher but slow pace???what bands are we talking about? Not even the ballads have had a slow pace.

Well, there's definetly another "stage" of Jon's voice BUT including Destination Anywhere. But it's in no way a voice that trys to find it's roots. It's just a voice that tries to make the best out of it's possibilities.Let's face it...Jon's voice is worse and worse these days but they made the best out of it with songs like You Give Love A Bad name 2003 or Right Side of Wrong. Bon Jovi's roots were heavy metal type of vocals which changed a very lot in the last 20 years.

But, well...it's gazthomas who probably doesn't make a difference between a cow and a horse so who cares???

1 - Energy of youth. Raw & looking it's form. shaping into a icon of its time
1st was fresh, new & powerful. 2nd just powerful. SWW & NJ are so similar that they could haev been released a double. I don't like the cheesiness those 2 albums brought into Jovi.

2 - "hey we're stars we can sell just about anything"
KTF was step towards closer-to-earth-rock, but not a step closer to their roots. TD flushed it all down the drain. From my point of view, DA was useless release.

3 - "hey we're getting older, we need to make some quick cash before fading away"

Crush & Bounce, easy-going poppy stuff that easily gets airplay. Aimed at the massess. Both have their highlights, but cheesiness taken even further (AALY and such) As whole, I think both albums are good display of aging rockers. A lot closer to pop than rock, but for me that's just what Jovi has become so these albums were quite close to what I expected. Nothing earthshaking, but solid. Tours getting shorted, seems like guys have less interest for music, which somewhat explains precence of some weaker tunes. TLFR, quickly cooked up piece of crap, just for making few quick bucks, sicne they were too lazt to cook up anything new.

Who ever said I was? I do appreciate them to certain point, but I am not/never was "fan" who appreciates everything just cos it has "bon jovi" written all over it.

I dont expect you to appreciate EVERTHING they do, I dont ,so why should others, but when I was reading what you had written I found it difficult to gain an understanding of what exactly you do appreciate about BJ.

My favourite album I can't choose, I have two of them, TD and KTF. Best vocal performances ever done, great rock songs. I wish I could re-live that time again......
I have to agree with you on that. I also love jon's vocals on Blaze of Glory
