The Bandiera Songs

For a brief period, yeah. It was the title of Jon's third solo album that morphed into a band record. Once the song Sex Sells wasn't going to make the album the title changed.

It was, but after the Destination Anywhere album Jon began writing songs for a possible third solo record (I guess at the time he was unsure as to where to head for the future). I think there were quite a few from those writing sessions that transformed into band songs later or were at least considered for the inclusion on the album (Stay and Temptation come to my mind here). And remember that Just Older was already played twice (or even more) as "Older" on Jon's European solo shows in 1998.

Ok. I did not know that. There are many songs on this album that have not come to light. There was a title of a song that was interesting, called "Someday You'll Ride Wild Horses".

Yup. A handful of the songs got re-recorded with the band and a handful stayed as is and had the band's name slapped on them and put as b-sides and on the box set.

I think one of the reasons that Gimme Some didn't make it is this similarity:
