Undivided and Bounce are aweseome songs! And unlike most fans, I actually like AALY and Joey.

Everyday isnt bad, and neither is The Distance, Right Side of Wrong and Hook Me Up.

Misunderstood... I dont know why they released it as a single. There were way better choices IMO.
The rest of the album is average.

I like the deep, heavyness of the album musically. Nothing really stands out from the album though which screams "THIS ALBUM ROCKS". Its pretty much the same clashing guitars throughout the whole album with the exception of a few tracks.
To try to appeal to different markets I guess. If everyone who liked Everyday had bought the album already, there doesn't seem much point in releasing Bounce or Hook Me Up second, they'd just be promoting to the same market

There should have been a fourth worldwide single that was a rock song though, I get your point about Misunderstood not representing the album at all

What other song on the album sounds even remotely like Misunderstood? There are none. Call it a rock album or not, but its an album characterised by heavy guitars, epic storytelling ballads, and (somewhat mediocre attempts at) power ballads. Misunderstood fits into none of these categories

I think 9/11 effected the album, badly. It just didn't know what it wanted to be, Undivided kicked the album off with heavy guitars, pounding drums and heartfelt angry lyrics. Everyday continued in the same vain and then along came Billy Joel type shite.

On the whole as an ALBUM it is terrible and I haven't listened to it since the 3rd play.

I have to ask, do you know what a chord is yet?

Again, you can say as much as you want that Bounce is only as rock as a Britney Spears album, call it "wannabe heavy rock" or "wannabe epic", it really doesn't change the fact that Misunderstood sounds nothing like any of the rest of the songs on the album

Bounce is a very strange album for me. It has three of my favorite Jovi songs Undivided, Hook me up and The Distance, I also like LMBTL, but the rest of the album downright sucks in my opinion. Those are the only 4 tracks I ever listen to.

TBH I like Bounce: Undivided, Everyday, Love Me Back To Life, The Distance, Hook Me Up and Bounce are all songs that I listen to. While Right Side and Misunderstood are ok. For me it beats the other 3 post 2000 records.

I'm not sure if I like Bounce or not :/

On one hand, the rocks songs rock yet I also love Misunderstood.

And sometimes I really like the ballads, other times they sicken me.

So I'm undivided...I mean undecided, about whether I actually like this album or not.

I think I'm gonna listen to it all tonight and form a final opinion.

WATCH THIS SPACE.

Undivided - Awesome.
Everyday - Good.
The Distance - Awesome.
Hook Me Up - Good.
Love Me Back To Life - Good.
Bounce - Good.

Misunderstood - OK.

Joey
All Abou Loving You
You Had Me From Hello
Open All Night
Right Side of Wrong

The above 5 some of the worst bunch of crap the band has ever released.

I love this album! Best post 2000 album for me, HAND comes close though. Crush was far worse for silly drum effects and pop sounding songs so I think it's unfair people are dissing the album on that part. Some really solid songs on Bounce and I hate how they hardly play any of the tracks live anymore because of all the stick it got!

Bounce I think is the third best post 2000 album they released behind HAND and LH. Crush to me out side of a few songs is really dry and boring. Bouce has some good songs and some utter crap on it.
