People forget that number 2 is a good result considering the amount of people that spent money on tickets for o2 in the last week.
That is not on till June so people know they have loads of time to pick up the album.
So seeing the amount of tickets that have sold I think the pr has worked

Number 2 is the highest it'll probably get in the UK. It'll be mainly hard core fans who buy the album as soon as it comes out. I can't see it being a ground breaking album that's gonna make loads of new fans.

You people talk like you are shocked that pop music is popular! Its not as if female pop singers are a new phenomenon.

Anyways, cool that BJ got to number 2, shame they didn't get to number 1, but I dont think many of us ever really expected them to anyway

Exactly. When was the last time they chose a decent first single from an album?! Saying that I don't really know what would make a good first single from The Circle.
Although Superman Tonight has the potential to be a big hit I don't think it would have been right for the first one.

Anyway it is clear that the British public no **** all about music. Those two dimwit twins who are nothing more than childrens entertainers were kept on the X FActor and the girl who cleary has some talent was voted off!

Precisely! Single choices for Bon Jovi are shit. I've no idea whether it's the band or the record label that decide on them. The only one they've got right in the last 10 years is IML. I suppose you could argue that HAND was a good first single, but I might have gone for LMS.
