why is everyone mentioning Avril?! So yeah, she has a song of the same title, but theyr nothing alike!

The lyrics to complicated DO suck yes, but its a fun catchey little number.

What he said. The song is terrible. The music isn't that great. The lyrics are among the worst they've ever written. It's only slightly more bearable live. Why they insist on inflicting that piece of crap on audiences on almost a nightly basis will be one of the great Jovi mysteries pondered by scholars a hundred years from now when they are studying rock and roll history.

Id much rather have Complicated live than Bad Mx or Sleep when im dead.

Its a jovi classic!

I don't mind Complicated. It's quite catchy when I'm in the right mood. I can think of many other Jovi songs that I'd replace with Complicated.

It might be even in terms of quality with Unbreakable (and that's not really saying a whole lot) but no way is is it in the same league as Last Cig, Welcome, or I Am... imo. To each their own though

I like the rockin' feel to it. So, it's not lyrically deep. Who cares!!

And who said that when you reach 40+ that you had to be profound.

Yes, yes, I like Complicated! i can identify with it, and I maintain that that's what BJ do best, write songs that people can identify with!
