The Dog Onstage Video

I think it's odd, but cute, It's definitely different for BJ which in itself ought to spark some interest in it. I agree that it will do better overseas than here in the US, The country version of this song is such a hit over here that that video is very connected to it so I see why they wanted something else to put with the song in other places.

Videos have never been BJ's strong suit, they have done best with performance only videos, but tyhose hardly make a blip on the video channels anymore. MTV and VH1 don't have the impact in the US that they used to.

Some fans on Backstage think this video could be career ending!
Although I wouldn't go that far, I don't think this video or the song for that matter, will exactly help their reputation in the UK.

what they are actually allowed to say career ending on Backstage.... say it isnt so...

Well, I don't think it'll be career ending! I think it's a bit silly and I don't see how it really relates, you know, to the SONG (Except the dog is going home). While it's silly, it IS entertaining.

I'm pretty happy with the habitat video, really. "Who says you can't go home" and building homes sort of connects. I watched the Habitat video along with my mother and I found that I was very proud to have been "Tooting Bon Jovi's horn" for all this time. (LOL love that phrase now that I've typed it) ahem....

Yeah, but outside the US the video wouldn't work because nobody would even know anything about what Habitat is. They had to make a new video for Europe etc.
I just wished they had released a different song all together!

Yep, lots of violent reactions to this video on backstage. Most HATE it and have been fairly vocal about it. I find it interesting that over here for the most part the reaction is fairly positive. To be honsest, I'm surprised the post which is 12 pages long over there is still up considering the video hasn't been officially released yet.
