I fail to see what Richie's album from 2012 has to do with any of that? The way you promoted a record back then was vastly different to how it's done in 2024.

That's not the same. You have to see that, right? I mean it's the same in both of them had unreleased music videos in the can but Richie also publicly said the cancelled dates from sickness would be rescheduled. Whether or not he actually was going to do a second kick at the can for the American markets that didn't sell is another issue, we'll never know.

But this is new territory for the band without a tour attached to the promotion. 2020 had a handful of music videos released with no tour as well but comparing anything to that era is as mindfield.
