Default The fan clubs new fee!

They've just announced that when Backstage changes it will be $40 for all fans worldwide!
What a joke - we will now have to pay more but we will no longer get a quarterly fanzine!
I won't be renewing.

Ripping off fans - isn't that great? Once again I'm glad I'm not paying anything for that. Who do they think they are?!

I know.
I've just asked a genuine question over there to ask if we will get anything other than priority concert tickets for our money and got the usual mouthful from the Bon jovi 'police'. Poeple who use that site will know who I mean!

Jesus!! I'm so glad I'm not a member. Does anyone else think that this will loose them a lot of members?

Althought I think it is ripping off fans and nothing else, I don't think they're losing any. These so called true fans will pay anything

I'm not going to and I've been a member for the best part of 10 years.
Your probably right about the majority though. I've queried the price over there and there have been loads of posts having a go at me, saying if it's too expensive then piss off basically. It seems they can't question anything about the fan club and are happy to pay whatever the price. In any other walk of life people would question why they would get less for more money but not BWJBJ apparently!

i think ppl should start up their own fanzines as less-expensive rivals to the official one, so backstage will have to bring down the price of their official zine to compete...

Beside the fact that a lot of people, esp.the ones who travel around during a tour, wouldn't want to miss the fanclub wristbands to get into the pit.

Slippery, you pay 40 Dollars and even won't get a fanzine anymore. They charge you more money than earlier for less offers.
