I don't think it's a ripoff, but that's just my opinion. You should look at some other band's fan clubs and see what they get....I think you'll be surprised.

You should look at what other bands fan clubs cost... I.E KISS Army? Free.

Don't pay that amount for the wrist band, you'll get in the pit anyway if you're ready to que. There aren't that many fan club members anyway and with prices like that I'm hoping it will be even less.

And did you know that they can't even guarantee that yhe wrist band would help? So you're basically paying for a chance that you _might_ get into the pit, the same chance you have without the membership.

Of all the bands you could list to show Bon Jovi's ripping people off, the fact that you chose Kiss is QUITE laughable. They overcharge for practically everything.

The fan club's free. The other stuff you get to choose if you pay or not. They don't rip you off for a front row spot. You can pay for it if you want to, but you'll get there even if you won't. And BSWJBJ can't even promise that you'll get the seat even if you pay for it.

The KISS Army? You're obviously not a memeber then. The last time KISS toured here, the members got a first access to the tickets and secured the front row. No membership fee.

No, I'm not a member. I'm definetely a Kiss fan, have been for a few years, but had no idea they do anything like that. My bad. Thanks for the info though.

I did:

REM Fanclub

offers:

magazines, fc-tickets (earlier entrance in Europe), a special christmas parcel that incl. a single esp. recorded for the fanclub members which has a quite high collectors value and some more merchandise.And they do fanclub only concerts also outside the USA.

Costs: 10 Dollars a year for US, 12 Dollars worldwide.
