So, do you want pepper and salt?

There are a bunch of different things going on here....
We were talking specifically about the Listening Party and you said we forgot Life's Too Short and some other song, These Open Arms maybe. Those two songs were not part of the Listening Party.
Were they for Sex Sells specifically? Maybe but there are also a ton of others that you never mentioned either. Kidnapped An Angel, Last Chance Train, Crazy Love, and a bunch more plus songs with titles that we never heard.
Now, as far as Life's Too Short goes, there is no known studio recording of it. People think it was written for Sex Sells because it was played live in the summer of '98 by Jon's solo band, not Bon Jovi.
It's tough to define a band song verse a solo song in the demo stage without knowing exactly who played on them especially during this period because of the overlaps..... Some of these songs could be DA leftovers, songs written specifically for Sex Sells, or songs just written. Unless it's specifically defined, we'll never really know.
1. All those B-sides during Crush.... If they were released on a Bon Jovi single as a b-side but not all members played on them, are they band or solo?
2. Even though Diamond Ring was on TD but written for NJ what time period is that song from?
3. Jon wrote half the songs for KTF himself. Are they band or solo? Band right? but what if they didn't make the album, are they now solo?
4. What if Jon and Richie write a song together but during the demo stage, Richie doesn't play on it?
I'm not looking for real answers because I know the answers but my point is, it's tough to define sometimes and not as cut and dry as one would think.
