I don't even like most of the albums, or even the bands, that are listed there.

Came across this, and 4 and a half-ish years later I have heard 30 of those albums ... not too bad really!

Looking back at list, it's actually a pretty good list, most of those 30 albums that I've heard are VERY good

That's a truly diabolical list. I think I've heard 11 or so of the records on there.

No matter what genre the magazine covers, The Beatles should be in any greatest albums list. Helter Skelter and Yer Blues have more balls than most of the shit metal bands on there anyway.

So glad Dark Side Of The Moon and The Wall made it on there, two of my all time favourite albums

Oh wait...they're not on there.

Also - is Bat Out Of Hell on there? I forgot to check It better be.

Lists like that are always shit. It just comes down to opinion at the end of the day, maybe even one persons opinion.

Roots on 2 and Reign in Blood on 10. Those should have been 1 and 2. Monster albums. Better than anything any metal band has ever released.

Anyhow, I know about 35-40 records of that list, and yeah, it still makes sense 5 years later...despite all the blues, the indie rock and the alternative I've stuffed into myself.

I could so go on a Nirvana/Kurt rant, and try and make people see the (IMO) amazingness, but I'll save it as most of the comments are from years ago anyway.

Anyway, I've heard a resonable amount of those albums. Agree with some being in the list, disagree with some. Such is life.

I'm suprised KTF is in there to be honest.
