The Last Night - what is that song about?

No its not.

It is Jon saying to Richie, that this is the last night he will have to be alone. That he and the band will be there for him. That he is coming and kicking in his door. That he will always be there for him, regardless of all the crap. From this day forward this is the last night he will be alone.

The whole song the translates into a general being there for people song..being someones rock.. saying its the last night they have to go through their shit alone.

Obviously it' supposed to be "This is the last night (that) you'll have to be alone (because) I'll be standing right beside you".

I know! And hearing it live was just an experience as my first kiss. Or somewhere close...

I just don't get how people still regard rock'n'roll as some aggressive, soul-eating monster. If there were more distorted guitars on the radio, this world would be a better place! This just proves me right!

You've seen Meat Loaf live? Lucky bastard. I wanted to go to his latest tour, for both him, his hot backing singers and Marion Raven ALL IN ONE SHOW! I woulda orgasmed.

Hell yeah, Marion Raven was worth the price alone. After that I bought her album, which is... nice. But nothing compared to seeing her live.

And after that the big man himself, I went totally nuts the whole time. And it was a long show. Around 2:40 h I think. It was so great I clearly forgive the man for his weak voice. First time I saw him, and it was like a dream come true. And for me "Bat 3" is one of his strongest albums, the only song I wished him to play which he didn't was "The Monster Is Loose", but at least that's on the DVD. He is in tour again this summer (at least in Germany) , so maybe you can pick it up this time?
