Default The Perfect Cover Song?

If you had to name your favourite Bon Jovi cover song what would it be?

For me 'Rockin' in the free world' seems to flow really well, but there have been so many others.

Helter Skelter - For me, this is the ultimate version of this song.
It's Only Rock 'n Roll (But I Like It) - '93 version with horns
Rockin' In The Free World - Yeah, they wouldn't dare to ruin a Neil Young song

Treat Her Right (NYC 2005) - This performance was rea;;y great.
Rockin ... - Good + Good Jon's solo
When A Blind Man Cries - Wow. One of best song recorded by Richie.
Heroes - I like watching video from Bounce Tour like Jon is playing on the guitar this song.

Helter Skelter is at the top of my list too.

The acoustic version of Bridge Over Troubled Water that Jon and Richie did in 96 is incredible - almost as good as the original. That's hard for me to say too since I am a big Simon and Garfunkel fan.

Jon's version of Hearts of Stone gives me chills and I think I like it better than the original.

Just Like a Woman is excellent - but when comparing to Bob Dylan's voice.....nuff said.

I think Richie does Midnight Rider better than the Allman Brothers (now I'm ducking).

Sylvia's Mother and Levon were both done perfectly (in my opinion) but both of them stuck quite closely to the originals.

As you can tell I like a lot of Bon Jovi's covers. I think for the most part they do a cover song justice. Some bands just murder them

Seems like we agree I forgot Bridge Over Troubled Water!!! It's so amazing, Richie sings so much better than Jon here, he steals the show

Never heard Just Like A Woman, but sure would like too, have never found it.
A PM from someone would be welcome.
Don't think I've heard they ruin a song, they're quite good at covers.

Kathleen has already named a lot of my favorites ^^

But I must add I absolutely love these as well

Jersey Girl ~ It makes me wish I was a Jersey Girl when Jon sings this

Travelin' Band ~ has a lot of energy and is alot of fun

Drift Away ~ gorgeous as Bridge Over Tr. H20 imo

Bring It On Home to Me ... i sooo love as well

Keep Me Hanging On... LOVE!

Always on My Mind with Willie Nelson was fabulous too.

I'm sure there are more that i'm forgetting but yeay, most of the time I wind up liking the BJ version of the song more than the original...

The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

With a Little Help from My Friends is perfect.

Bridge Over Troubled Water is a song I've loved for as long as I can remember and I think Jon and Richie sound better than Simon and Garfunkle. I LIKE Richie's voice on this song. That's like huge. I don't even mind that he sings "read your mind."

Here Comes the Sun--again it was perfection when Jon and Richie did it on the VH-1 Awards.

You Belong to Me. I don't have a very good recording of it, but hearing it live was one of the best concert moments ever.

Save the Last Dance for Me. If only Willie DeVille would shut up.
