I think Jon covered Levon for an Elton John tribute album.

One of my favorite cover songs is "Drift Away". I love the song and the vocals (by Jon and Richie). Here's a good version

Only time I've ever seen richie perform without his guitar, and he seems to have trouble finding something for his hands to do, he just kinda waves them about.

I'm also a big fan of With A Little Help From My Friends and Rockin' All Over The World (love Dave's piano solo in that).

And the one time performance with Aerosmith of "Walk This Way" was awesome too. Link below.

A bit off topic, but I know Bon Jovi have covered "Long Way To The Top" (by AC/DC, only once I think) and "Working Class Man" (by Jimmy Barnes, on the KTF tour in Aus in 93') before. If anyone can help me track down an mp3 of either of those songs, I'd be really thankful!

Drift Away was not done originally by the Rolling Stones - it was written by Mentor Williams and originally recorded by Dobie Gray in 1972.

The version that is from the Cincinnati 87 concert is one of the best I have heard - better than the original in my opinion.

My favourite, hands down, has to be 'You Keep Me Hanging On' from Hammersmith Odeon.

The little speech and the the screams are what rock and roll is all about - makes me think of the Dry County interlude the way it gets me pumped up. An instant classic.

Wow, so many great songs and as said a lot of the Bon Jovi versions beat the original versions. I think i will put together my own cover cd.

Anyone wanna help with a track list. SBD recordings please.
