If the team suceeds then yes it won't all be because of JBJ, but on order for them to suceed you need sponsporship and publicity, which he has brought in. That is why the Soul sold so many tickets in their first year, which doesn't mean they will win games, but if it was you playing wouldn't you feel more motivated to win if you were playing to a full arena?
And i agree with the comment about all of the cliches but i think i(n this case) thats more to do with the writer having read other articles about JBJ and putting then in their than with JBJ regurgitating them.
