If the team suceeds then yes it won't all be because of JBJ, but on order for them to suceed you need sponsporship and publicity, which he has brought in. That is why the Soul sold so many tickets in their first year, which doesn't mean they will win games, but if it was you playing wouldn't you feel more motivated to win if you were playing to a full arena?
And i agree with the comment about all of the cliches but i think i(n this case) thats more to do with the writer having read other articles about JBJ and putting then in their than with JBJ regurgitating them.  |
You are right about the cliches most certainly it comes from the writer ...
about the soul succeed yeah that's true that a good promotion help a team to win but it's not all about that .. Jon 's work was easy until now (I didn't see anything that amazingly new to promote a team just a good old entertainer attitude) now if the purpose is to make money he can be succesful even with a losing team as long as ppl will be attracted by his rocker image and buy his tickets and tee shirts and all .. as soon as the Soul will let the ROCKER OWNER image not be front it will be then just about the sport and then the success is not guaranty but if it comes Jon 's fame won't be the reason of it ...
I think the soul thing was a good idea for Jon to be busy during the downtime and to make money but to see him promote himself to promote his team on tv , on newspapers , on business magazines ...everywhere seing Jon's image , Jon's biography , Jon's photos and all to promote a sport team I do think that now it's too much ... is there STILL in the usa anyone who doesn't know that Jon BON JOVI owns the Soul ? !! JMHO
