The Powerstation Years?!

Have you got The Powerstation Years and what do you think of the cd?

I bought it a couple of years ago and am now listening to it for the first ever time, gotta say its not too bad on first listen.

It shows that Jon had a lot of potential. They're certainly not his best recordings, but the songs are really good considering how young he was when he wrote and recorded them. Some are still a lot better than the crap getting airplay on radio today.

Actually, I like the cd pretty much! When I just bought it, I played it lots of times.

For me, it's THE connection to Springsteen.

I wouldn't call it a good CD but it's interesting to hear how he started.

Well I just got the Essential Bruce Springsteen recently, and after hearing some of his earlier songs I think Jon was very much influenced by them.

I like it, it`s of course not comparable to the real jovi cd`s but it´s good for the time it was recorded

Interesting for a first album. Some good songs as "more than we bargained for" "Who said it would last forever"....

Great CD... My CD is called the Powerstation Sessions. A wonderful CD with Jon showing his true potential. The music isn't what you would think and a lot of it is great. It's a pretty hard CD to find and I found it for 7 bucks at an FYE store about 9 months ago. It's one of my favorites. Lots of different kinds of music. Some with wind instruments, piano's, etc. The thing I like about it is that no song sounds the same. Its really great and if you don't have it, you might want to consider investing in it. It's a great piece of his history.
