Maybe so, but I agree- I didn't want to read the damn post either. It's kinda like a poster campaign or similar: keep it short and snappy, it'll grab the attention more.

As for the actual topic, people sometimes like to be left in peace. Fair enough he has to accept fame and attention is part and parcel of it all, but it's not too hard to believe he gets a little pissed off with it occasionally.

Some people on this board need to lighten up! It's quite pathetic that rather than take the content of a post, certain people cannot resist getting on their high horse and attacking the somewhat irrelevant aspects of the thread.

Anyway, in answer to the original poster's question, I have heard of several 'bad experiences' from people who have met or been around Jon. In fact, the general impression I have gotten (having not had the chance to meet any them myself) is that, the other guys are quite approachable but Jon has placed himself on a pedestal.

One guy who drummed for our band for a bit said that he used to work for Pearl Drums and that as a company rep, he went to one of the Jovi shows in the mid 90s because Tico used (and still uses) Pearl equipment. He said that after the show, in the chillout room backstage, the guys all came in (except Jon) and both Richie and Dave came over and were chatting away with him quite happily. After they'd all left, a few peeps were still hanging around having drinks when these huge security guards came in and ushered them all against the wall. 30 seconds later, Jon came waltzing through surrounded by security in a manner suggesting that somebody there might try and 'bother him'.

If it's true, it's a bit of a joke given how the other guys are.

He said , " it kinda makes you come off as someone who is not too bright ".... that IS a bit of an insult. I mean come on. But like I said whatever... let's all just end this now ok. I kinda wish I never would have posted in the first place. Talk about the weather , talk about your pets or kids... Let's change this post to something happy.
