Disagree with most of this review (heh, Price Of Love has long been my favourite pre-SWW song), but I'm curious about your SWW review.

Hmmm... I really don't see it as a "heavy" album at all, and to me Price Of Love is more pop than rock. It's surprising to me how many people here view 7800 Fahrenheit as one of their heaviest, if not the heaviest album, when to me there's not one song on the album that resembles heavy music. Strange. There's of course nothing wrong with disagreeing. That's the thing with music, we all have different opinions about what is good music and what is not, and I guess in this case we have different definitions about what is "rocking" music and what is not.

I'm also surprised at how hurt user DevilsSon seems to be because of the review. He obviously didn't appreciate the review, and I don't have a problem with that (and I can easily admit that I don't have in-depth knowledge about music producing, I don't pretend that I do and I don't have a problem with it - I only describe the songs the way I see them), but I don't see a reason for going almost insulting me.

Thank you for the comments.

People seem to be really protective of the album. I simply don't care for it but there's plenty that do. Sometimes it's irratating when it's insinuated that the only reason fans don't like it is because the band has publically said they don't. It's just not my cup of tea, meh.

I prefer this album over a few others most of the time (of course this also depends on what mood I'm in) - I usually find it to be more interesting than Crush, TLFR, the first and even TD (I just dig the atmosphere on 7800° more, I love the 80s vibe). So I'm not just being protective, though that also plays a role, sure.

But with Bongo MIA, I'd really like to see some more reviews, don't get me wrong.

I really donīt like this album at all. Easily the worst by the band.

Don't get discouraged by some of the comments. I'm enjoying your reviews. I don't have to agree with everything to enjoy the dialogue.

I have always loved this album but the reasons are personal. I think that if anyone was in the same sort of relationship place that the band members were when this record was made they could relate. Have a few beers and listen to this record and you can have a real pity party.
