That's a cute story Kathleen.

My recent one is I am still head over heels in love with I Got the Girl. It's carefree rock/pop that I blast every time.

He had the band play Thank You For Loving Me. I have to say it was all I could do to keep it together. When I looked over at my husband he had tears pouring down his face. It was never one of my favorites but it has sure bumped up several notches.
Great story! At my wedding, I had them play Thank Your For Loving Me (though from the CD) too, at the beginning of the ceremony. I didn't think they would let the entire song play, more like the up to the first chorus or so, but they did. And everybody sat and listened Then at the wedding party, my best friend and I played You Got Me From Hello and I'll Be There For You (my wife's favorite BJ song) for her. Had a blast

Also got called up onto the stage (a couple of beers) later because nobody knew the lyrics to Rocking In The Free World. Thanks to the BJ cover I (kind of) knew them and belted them out as good as I could

I wish I found this thread sooner!

"Superman Tonight" is the first Bon Jovi song I really fell in love with, and remains one of my all-time favorites of theirs today. The Circle is by far my favorite album of theirs.

I also love all of the HAND album save "Novocaine" and "Last Cigarette". "Welcome to Wherever You Are", "Bells of Freedom", and "These Open Arms" are all in my BJ top 10.

"Bad Medicine" is in my opinion one of the worst songs they've written.

I really like "We Don't Run" and "We All Fall Down" (although the latter should be sped up more than a bit).

I also think that the entire WAN album is better than everyone says it is, and "Because We Can" is the worst song on said album.

I am not a fan of either of JBJ's solo albums, and love all three of Richie's.

I think "Tokyo Road", "In and Out of Love" and "Runaway" are extremely overrated. There are many superior songs on both of the pre-SWW albums.

I like the studio version of "I Love This Town", although I don't think it deserves as many live runs as it has gotten.

I prefer the original Crush version of "One Wild Night" over the 2001 version.

I think the TLFR version of "Born to Be My Baby" is far superior to the original version.

I really don't get why "Living With the Ghost" is widely considered one of the best off THINFS. There are many better songs on that album, such as "Born Again Tomorrow" and "I Will Drive You Home"

and now the most controversial of my opinions:
I think "Always" is greatly overrated. It's simply a Whitney Houston or Mariah Carey song with a guitar solo. "Bed of Roses", "I Want You", and "This Ain't a Love Song" are far superior.

Comparing a song to a song that two legendary artists would perform is actually not a bad thing!!!

If I got a haircut and someone said "you look like Brad Pitt with that hair cut" using a negative tone, I'd still consider it a compliment.

Props to you brother!

I disagree with about 99% of what you just said (strongly), but this is what this thread is all about!

Regardless of the song, that's actually really cool! I wish this was the norm at all concerts (or at least in those where you have screens in toilets, hallways, etc.)

Props for stating your opinion on that, though the above quote is the only one from your list I'd agree with

TBH, alot of my opinions are probably very unpopular, so...

Bounce and WAN are two of my favorite albums, and I actually like most of the post-2000 albums

Bed of Roses is overrated, and to a lesser degree, so is Wanted Dead or Alive (I like the TLFR version as much if not more than the original)

I've never liked Never Say Goodbye either

I already like you. 😀 I have to change the station when it comes on the radio.
