It's a great song. It should've made it to Crush over gay tracks like She's A Mystery, Save The World, I Got The Girl, and that Joan Osborne cover song.

It's an alright tune, its obviously a lot more raw and almost garage rock sounding than the massively produced pop rock of It's My Life. The verses have some nice ideas in them, and the "I'm 17, I'm thinking about dying" line (and especially when it's reprised near the end) is great. But I agree that the chorus is a bit weak ... it's good for the massive gang-vocal first line, but the rest of it doesn't really do much for me. And my God, who decided that an incredibly long, repetitive outro like that was a good idea?!

That part does my head in as well. Drags so much.

Yeah, somehow. But since it was on a Bon Jovi single I figured it has to be a BJ recording. But wait, weren't there Big Dog's songs on the boxset... hmpf, things shouldn't get messed up, band and solo I mean. I mean, JBJ IS BJ, but then again... not THAT much...

I don't really like this song...IMO the crush sessions are the worst bon jovi songwriting ever.
Am I the only one that hear in the guitar line the piano part of Blood on Blood?

I love Crush. It's the last album that features songs that breathe some artictical freedom and the will to experiment. Yes, although it's a pop-rock record with commercial attempt!

Wow, that Stereophonics songs is really good. Should give this band a proper try.

Yah, there were a lot of songs on the box set that weren't neccisarily Big dog songs, but Jon and other Session musicians/friends, and of course Don't want to live forever, Hush, Stay, Gimmie Some, You can't lose at love were all solo Jon songs.

The box set is more debatable on what's band and what's not but that's another thread.

I like it as a B-Side, but I think IML is a MILES better song.
