Yay. Always loved the album, and this song.

Would be interesting to see them performing this, but honestly, would it have the same energy as 1985? Hmmmm... still, they should give it a try. Maybe with the new rock attitude for the new album they might give it an outing.

Definitely YAY !!!! Such a great rocker.
In a history of live playing of this song I don't understand why they stopped playing it in the beginning of August 1987. It never returned. Its place after the solos (guitar and drums) took Get Ready which I'm nt that big fan of (kinda overrated by the band back then IMO). In And Out Of Love is just great.

It's a highlight from a weak album. It's a decent catchy rock song.

The hook in the chorus is the same as in Heavens On Fire (a Kiss song that was released a year earlier, co-written by DC).

A great hook, nevertheless.

Yes, it is the same. I wonder if the version Seb is talking about has the fade out that the Remaster Bonus has though? I loved that Remaster Bonus to death btw. It was the first I ever got to hear anything live from that album.

Yay, obviously.

Yes, that's the one. I don't know why it's got a fade out, it's not that there was a song connected to it. It was the last song of the main set.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

That always did annoy me. When One Wild Night Live came out I took the end off that mix and cut/paste it into the Remaster Bonus edit to resolve the fade out. Then I wound up getting a hold of Tokyo Road Live In Japan on DVD following that. I never got around to ripping the audio off that.

I'm actually listening to the Remaster Bonus track now...I can't tell you how long it's been since I really put on Bon Jovi...particularly this track. I always loved the build up in the intro..particularly when Tico comes in pounding the kick followed by those snare cracks before settling into the groove.
