Big Yay for the song. Would love to hear it live but sadly, I don't think I will. Anyway, like Simon said, it may not have the same energy as it did back in the 80s...maybe best to keep it as a good memory?

I must be honest I thought we might get this at Twickenham #2.

When he introduce what we now know was 'I believe' he said "This is from when records were vinyl and this was the 1st track off the album..."

That would have been brilliant, can't complain though.

Just saw this and it was funny what Jon said about the song. I think we'll never hear this again, not that I care as I'm not a fan of it.

There was also the show at the O2 arena in 2010 where a fan requested it and Richie started the riff on his double neck guitar before Jon told him to cut it off 'cause he wasn't gonna play it.

Jon is playing it too, I really wish they just did it.

Richie's face is priceless. Why does he hate that song so much? The lyrics are crap but it has some good riffs.

This song was Bon Jovi's biggest Jersey success of the first 2 albums which was a big deal during those times. The video was shot in Seaside and the song was getting a lot of local promo. The music scene just wasn't there yet but the music is oh so good.

Those first 2 albums are so underrated. Any real fan must own every officially released album and like the first 2 albums. If you don't check both boxes, don't waste my time.

This I do not. You don't have to own and like absolutely everything and anything and band releases to call yourself a "real" fan. Why would anyone waste their money buying an album they dont like, or know they're probably not going to like? Aside from blind admiration through Jovi-tinted glasses.

I think a real fan would give a record a chance as they're... you know... fans, and not say "this is going to suck" before hearing it.
