Joey is a combination of Schmaltzy songwriting and boring musicality.

It's just one example of why it was a terrible decision on Bounce to mix hard rock with Billy Joel type songs.

Apart from the vomit inducing mundaneness of the songs below Bounce actually had some okay songs.

Right Side Of Wrong - Urgh

Love Me Back To Life - Blurgh

You Had Me From Hello - bad Wonderful tonight rip off

Open All Night - zzzzzzzzzzzzz

I like the song, wouldn't mind hearing it live again but not all the time.

Nah, not a fan. It is, however, one of the better bad songs off Bounce.

Erm... might be going off topic a little bit but I've seen a bit of hating for Bounce. Why? It is a great album IMO with good songs(Bounce, Everyday, Joey, Undivided) and is definitely my favourite

I would suggest you duck now my friend LOL
In all seriousness though, Bounce isn't really a popular album around here.
It's honestly not one of my favorites, but I do love Joey and Right Side Of Wrong, Undivided, and Misunderstood.

Yes it had some good songs, it had lots of shit ones too.

It didn't know what it wanted to be.

So as an album it stinks.

How does that even make sense? Surely that'd make it at least an OK album

An album is supposed to work together from start to finish. Bounce went from ok songs to utter shite songs so the whole feel was off. Hard rock and slushy piano ballads just don't mix.

When I listen to an album I don't like skipping most of the tracks, I'm sure that goes for any person realy. So as an ALBUM it stinks.

Does that make sense? Or must I reiterate on the above?

Jon doesnt make a secret stealing from other songs to create new ones... he has said all the best artists do this.

I like Joey.

Crap song, along with Right Side of Wrong... but not to go off topic here. Some of the reviews on Bounce said it was a copy of Levon. BJ have covered Levon before as well so it's understandable.
I love hearing Dave playing a piano driven song but I don't want them to sound like Billy Joel... I really don't like him.
