The Verdict: Something For The Pain

I always put this song in my top 10 Jovi songs.

I really like the song. I think it's perfectly placed on the album to transition Hey God into This Ain't A Love Song, and it manages to simultaneously sound like a traditional Bon Jovi song, and something completely new. LOVE the bridge breakdown with Jon and Richie singing different parts, love the outro, love the overall defiant attitude of it ... chorus lyrics are a bit iffy, but it's a minor complaint I think

I'd actually say its not even in the top half of the album, but thats just cos the rest of songs on the album are of such a high quality. But its definitely among the top 10 singles that the band have released in the last 14 years for me

This is my favourite song from These Days (just in front of This Aint A Love Song).

These Days was the last Jovi album I got into (except Bounce). However, I heard Something For The Pain on the radio once and I loved it. I had this song way before I bought the album.

Easily in the top 15 of my fav Jovi songs. Probably just outside the top 10 at #11.
