The worst BJ Lyrics ever!!!!!!!!!!

It's certainly an acquired taste. I like it, it's fun and poppy. Doesn't fit every one of my moods but it's definetely cheery.

As usual I'll say King of the Mountain. I don't understand why nobody's come up with it yet!

It is now closely followed by We Got It Going On, though.

Ok so the lyrics for WGIGO suck but god dammit it's a fun song. Like One Wild Night and Wild In The Streets.

King of the Mountain is surely the greatest song ever, they were on some whacked out shit that day

"If I Was Your Mother" is a strange song, given that it's not about wanting a parental kind of relationship (is it??) The rest of the song is great except for the chorus.


"We Got it Going On" is pretty bad, lyrically, but it's a good "fun song." (Which is what Big and Rich are good for--fun songs--not deep songs).


"Guano City" gets my vote for worst title. (Now someone help me understand why it was on the album since it's instrumental and Jon didn't write it, right?)

Their are more songs with bad lyrics, I don't say that, but please any of them replace WGIGO
We get rid of Big & Richie at the same time. its worth it

WGIGO is better than Complicated and it's a lot more fun live. I mean, if we're talking crappy lyrics, it's not like "Raise Your Hands" is all that brilliant. Or "Lay Your Hands On Me."

I love that song - no matter how bad my mood, that one always gets me back in a good mood & singing along.

My mum hates Bon Jovi and has done so since the moment I liked them (just like everything else in my life) but this song...well when she heard it something made her ask me for the CD. When I asked why (thinking she's going to snap yet another of my CDs) she told me she wanted to take the CD to school & play "Captain Crash" for her kids at school (Mum is a primary school teacher).

I refused, she got very peeved.

I threw the lyrics at her and told her: "do you REALLY want to take this song to play for your school kids considering the majority of them go home and watch their parents get stoned every night? Just look at this line"

I pointed to:
They're drunk on love as you can get
Getting high on lust and cigarettes
Living life with no regrets
At least they're gonna try to fly

...after reading the lyrics my mum very quickly changed her mind on taking the CD to school. Afterall, all of her students would know EXACTLY what this line would mean and probably take it as encouragement...and being her school has enough problems with drugs and students with agressive pasts....not the very best idea on the planet!

....now I wonder what my mother would think if she knew I myself had gotten high once while listening to this song...the one and only time I have ever been stoned and it was too that song! LOL

with the same old exceptions, but we made it a FACT now.

Just like this board, not because of the same old exceptions, made it a fact that These Days is the favourite album among BJ fans.
Same goes for Drycounty as a song.
