Yes, I wonder if he thinks watching interviews from 1995 belongs to doing nice things with his friends or without his friends.

Salaam Aleikum,

I don't think the fact that these days is a darker album that makes it so good.
I think It's because of the passion they delivered the album that makes it so special. If only they could make an album with that passion in them as these Days.

This was a kinda difficult album as the band had aquired a whole load of new fans off the back of crossroads, so had to deliver album to apeal to both pre crossroads fans and post crossroads fans!!

Wouldnt say it was a "dark" album, in fact it followed on well from keep the faith.

I actually listento this album way more than bounce or crush at the moment.

Default These Days

THESE DAYS is my favorite album.

Everything since TD sucks in comparison. Their complacency shows, in the music, especially in TLFR

Mid-life crysis???

My opinion:Bon Jovi got pretty good critic(compared to the 80s)for KTF.
But KTF didn't sell real good(they expected more...i even have aninterview with Jon where he says:"KTF DIDN'T WORK!").Than came CROSS ROAD and unexpectedly they sold 20 million.

I guess thiis gave them self-confidence and try to make something that critics will love, something that will put them there next to U2 or REM.
Critics remained critics..they were pretty sceptical and even if the critic was in general good,These Days is way underrated since it's one of the best pieces of music ever. All that talk about :WE WERE HAPPY...I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW THAT HAPPENED is pretty much a lie(IMHO).

THESE DAYS is to this day my favourite Bon Jovi album and i would give anything if the boys realeased something close as good.

The band were very happy in '95. By the end of '94 "Crossroad" was the biggest selling album in the UK if not Europe and they were thrilled to be playing three nights at Wembley stadium! - A record only rivalled by The Stones. In fact Jon was so hyper the week leading up to Wembley that he even said the night before on a London radio show that he was so exighted he would probably cum on stage!
