I agree with many who have said that These Days is moody, and it shows Bon Jovi's darker side which I believe they should show more of coz it certainly works..In fact My guitar lies bleeding in my arms..not a song about love..not a song about life..but a song about the difficulties of writing a song is my favourite Bon Jovi song ever!..I dont know why but I've always liked power in a song and Bon Jovi demonstrates it perfectly here on this song..and this album.

I have to admit, My Guitar is a very clever song. One of my favorite tracks on the album. It even inspired me to write a song about songwriting called Youngwire, and man is it hard to do. Even though I don't like These Days as a whole, I really have to commend the boys for bringing out this gem.
