what?!

They are not a nostalgia band?

So, why since crush tour 80% of the set lists it's all 80's songs? (obviusly excluding the current album songs)

they prefer to do raise your hands and that kind of stuff and they have been completing ignoring songs like THIS AIN'T A LOVE SONG wich by the way was a hit in the US.

People in the US just recognize the band by their 80's, it's a fact, and they don't seem inconfortable with the situation for a not nostalgia band. HEHEHEHEHE.

But, if "current album" is anywhere in the conversation doesn't that cancel out "nostalgia".

What the ****?

You rag on Bon Jovi for being sell outs but you obviously haven't paid attention to pop culture lately. Motley Crue are just as big of sellouts in a different way.

Have you forgotten all the lame, sorry assed reality shows they have done? It's not just one, it's many. Tommy Lee goes to college, Rock Star Supernova, Vince Neil documenting his face-lift, Motley Crue documenting their fighting in attempt to re-unite, Vince Neil on The Surreal Life. All of this was a sorry attempt to get attention for themselves just so they could get audiences to remember who they are and come out to their shows.

So what is "Rock" about that?

Well - the song is not made for Richie but that's not too much of a problem (as JBJ can't sing it anymore sadly) .

The MAIN problem is that the song was

DESTROYED
SMASHED TO PIECES,
SLAUGHTERED
HACKED,
CUT INTO BITS

by the absolute annoying dumb feelingless violin solo replacing half of the guitar solo. It almost made me cry seeing one of my fave BJ songs been slaughtered to death.
If it was a coverband - well ok then. But not from the band who wrote it and performed it in a great manner before!

Damn that was the greatest musical shit I heard for ages!
I am afraid if anyone who has a ticket for an upcoming show listens to this bullcrap doesn't throw his/her ticket into the dustbin then all hope is lost. This is really sad sad sad and beyond expectations.

I promise to NEVER EVER download a single second from a BJ live show on their current "We destroy your memories" Tour 2007/2008.

Sad - have to watch London 1995 now.

What a mess. One of the greatest disasters in music is seeing BJ going downhill as fast as Slippery when wet was selling in 1986/1987. If they continue to do so they will join Warrant, Winger and Ratt on a "Rock will never stop " Tour.

... as support act. They are only a small shadow of their glorious past.

Please Please call it a day and retire NOW! The world doesn't need you to destroy your old classics.
Surely just having Richie sing it in the first place counts as "destroying your memories" or "destroying their old classics" in that case? As anything different from the way its "supposed" to be played is bad apparently?

Are you also not a fan of Keep The Faith with Sympathy For The Devil and the jungle screams? Or Richie extending the outro solo to Any Other Day?

Perhaps they're not a nostalgia band cos they've never toured without an album to promote, even if that album was just a Greatest Hits or Live album?

You have the balls to talk about how Bon Jovi is destroying there legacy?
As opposed to watching an overweight, warbling Vince Neil destroy Motley's songs with vocals out of Spinal Tap?

And for the record, I do like Motley Crue.
Vince always had a voice like that love it or hate it so there's no comparison to JBJ who once had a decent voice live and hit the high notes - Vince never had the ability. Nevertheless he was in good shape on the last tour and is a great frontman. JBJ was that until 2007 before decided to retire as a Rock vocalist/frontman to become a country pooper.

Because these are the classic songs. The should leave the ****ing LH songs and play more of that. Who the **** cares if they are a nostalgia band or not. Better being nostalgic than destroying memories as the "Destroy our memories " treck is moving on and on right now....

This has nothing to do with music. If JBJ decided to get his wig (as he is balding now) and let it be filmed - who the heck cares as long as the music is great and the live shows are Killer. This ain't the case unfortunately

You didn't get the point: I don't care if Richie sings or not (though his voice doensn't fit the song at all) I hate the song being played as lame as **** with a ****ing violin solo replacing the guitar part. Damn annoying! THis was the ugliest version of a great great song I ever heard. Even a cover band would have played it with more passion and edge.

Raise Your Hands is a classic song? I disagree. It's just a nice song, that's it is.

They just can't keep ignoring their 90's.
