I remember when I first heard that performance, I thought it was a good effort. But after hearing Frankfurt from this past tour, it's not even close.

Well yeah I think most would agree, Jon's vocals were better and obviously Richie was in a better frame of mind.

For old times sake.

I love this song, one of my favourites. I would like to hear this more but at the end of the day Jon does struggle with it, better now but he still does struggle. I guess he doesn't want to do that at every show, he knows how his voice is and whether he can make a good job of it or not.

Very sad though because 'These Days' is my favourite album but you are lucky if you hear 1 track from this album at a show.

Completely agree, I would love to hear it live, especially seeing as it is off These Days() too.

This is These Days from Ireland last summer. Unbelieveable performance.

Some great performances this last tour, very good.

'These Days' to me is just as important, if not more, than:

Runaway
Prayer
Bad Name
Wanted
Bad Medicine
I'll Be There For You
Keep The Faith
I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
It's My Life
Captain Crash
Have A Nice Day
Who Says You Can't Go Home

The difference is that all these get played every show but 'These Days' and other songs from that album do not see the light of day.

Why can't we have:

These Days
Hey God
Something To Believe In

These could be regulars in most shows, why not?

I completely agree, take out It's My Life, Have A Nice Day and Who Says You Can't Go Home and put in These Days and I would be happy!

I'm also a little sad that Saturday Night was a bit of a rarity on the last tour, that song should be in the encore every night IMO.

Yeah, Saturday Night got the shaft. There were very few good performances of it.

These Days could definitely be played more than it is, Jon may struggle with it now and then, but I doubt he would like he did embarrassingly so in tours past. And when he's on, he can absolutely own the song again. Same with Hey God.

Something To Believe In SHOULD have been played last tour. But I don't think it'd ever become a semi-regular.

I agree, it's not as if These Days is the hardest for Jon to sing. Always, Keep The Faith etc. are harder for him(judging by his breathing pattern and the faces he makes! ).

Something To Believe In - I'm torn over this. This definitely should have been played, it is a fantastic song and would please just about every die-hard. But honestly, the vocals are probably the most demanding of Jon, so who knows, maybe that's why it wasn't played at Twickenham? Then again, there's no excuse for replacing Never Say Goodbye and Something To Believe In with I Love This Town and Twist & Shout.
