DEAR JAG.......CRUSH AND BOUNCE HAVE MORE BALLADS THAN THESE DAYS SO WHAT THE HELL ARE TOU SAYING?
THESE DAYS HAS AT LEAST 4 HARD ROCK SONG AND 4 BALLADS BUT THEY WERE GREAT BALLADS WITH SOME GUITAR IN THEM....
CRUSH HAS 2 REALLY ROCK SONGS (IML/OWN) AND TOO MANY POP SLOW SONG..
BOUNCE HAS 4 HARD ROCK TRACK (NOT EVEN COMPARABLE WITH THE ONES ON THESE DAYS) AND 4 MELLOW POPPY TEENY BALLADS........

in acording to the initial topic, i'm agree that these days is the last real bj album. Crush, bounce and tlfr are... average.. And they're not as sww, nj, keep or these days, for what we're fallin' in love with the guys!

I'd have to agree to a point. Although I liked Crush, Bounce and This Left Feels Right, they were nothing compared with previous releases. Crush and Bounce were out to try to please radio listeners and people who hadn't heard (much of) the band before. Most of those songs don't really have a lot to say, unlike These Days, which used lyrics and music that wanted to mean something. It's the last album, which was full of passion IMO.

You probably cannot relate to this record that much. When you are 17, it is a lot simpler to relate to SWW, NJ and Crush. It's hard to relate to Damned, Something to believe in and It's hard letting you go.

But it's okay. Methinks your opinion about this record will change with time.
lol well i still dont see what the big deal with these days is ..it IS a good record but not the best Bon Jovi imo (iｴll get beat up here now probably )

i do have to be in a certain state of mind (like feeling blue or sad or depressed, even discouraged) to enjoy this record (dont ask me why)
