Shame really.
So based on your logic, SWW is absolutely full of shite, since so many people bought it.
This logic only applies to albums I don't like!

Seriously though, back then, Bon Jovi made the music they wanted to. It actually was not music that pleased the masses. The hair metal fans were a pretty tight market though a very powerful one - considering their spending dollars on music. Back then they most definitely didn't have the diversity in fans as they have today.

Back then, I am pretty sure they did not analyze the market as they do now. In fact, I remember an article way back in the 80s in which BJ was cited as an example of the pressure record companies put on their artists - they weren't allowed to cut their hair - were ridiculed for getting married at a time when it would have been more beneficial for them to stay single and please the girls, had to wear certain clothes, etc.... Which actually was the reason for the death of glam metal - too much pressure - too many rules - just what that age group did not want. Perfect breeding ground for grunge :P

I don't think it is fair to compare album sales of the 80s to numbers of today - times are different.

Bon Jovi will drop to the forgotten...

Today, I'm listening to Beatles, this was a real band... Since Please, Please me 1962 till forever...

The Bon Jovi ****ers was the producers Luke Ebbin, Pat Leonard and the one from Bounce...

For nowadays, the solution would be Bob Rock...

I'll tell you what I like about Crush, it may not exactly be guitar driven, but it does have loads of nice little guitar licks all over it

Keep On Rockin'

I agree it's the last good album. Crush was crap, OWN was bad, Bounce was average and TLFR was worst of all.
