Yes they should definately vary the set lists more! I think they need to keep some of the old stuff because that is what some fans want to hear, but apart from a few old songs they should play new stuff, or album tracks from older records like stuff from the These Days record.

3. They would stop playing old singles like Bad Name, Wanted, It's My Life, and Prayer on TV appearances to promote the new CDs (Today Show, Saturday Night Live, etc)
I wonder if this is the same as deciding what single to release- do they have a choice in it?, or would the TV show/record company decide that they have to play at least 1 old song that people will know?

7. They would stop releasing cheesey ballads like Thank You for Loving Me and All About Loving You.
They should just stop releasing bad cheesy songs full stop. They need to stop thinking about what the record company wants and what they think will get them new fans and write stuff like they used to that actually means something.

8. They would all stop smoking cigarettes, especially Jon because he's the singer. It doesn't matter so much if Richie and Tico are firing them up, aside from hurting their own health
They should all stop smoking anyway, just for their health. All of them have young children and it's going to do them any good if their parents get cancer.

no, he said big anthemic choruses and guitar solos were who they are, and to not be ashamed of it and celebrate it.
how things get twisted don't they?

I'd just mention the biggie; vary set lists. I like hearing Prayer, Bad Name and It's My Life as much as the next person, but it'd be nice to mix them into sets that include material from the first two albums, for example. Also, never end a show with Shout ever again.

I agree with a lot of what Becky wrote... but if they can't mix up the set list then they should AT LEAST shuffle the order of the songs. I dunno maybe they can't do that because of lighting choreography or something but it's a little sad when at the end of each song you know what they're going to play next.

I'm bored of the little things that Jon says before songs. Like before LYHOM, it's always "Welcome to Johnny's church", and before Bad medicine it's "Is there a doctor in the house?!". Please get some new intros!!
Not really bothered about hearing Richie or other band members singing.
Less pop more rock.
More dates in Scotland, cos not everyone in the country lives in Glasgow.
More stuff from These Days played.

Focus on the rock songs more. Alot of the best songs, esp the last album were relegated to B sides while they tried to appeal to as many people as possible by including slow crap like Open All Night etc. From what I hear the same is happening on this album too. STOP IT! Promote the good rockers dont be ashamed of them!

They've lost the edge they once had. They have always been a pop-rock band from the very beginning, but they've always had an edge of some kind. In the 80's it was a metal edge. In the 90's it was a blues rock/hard rock edge. Now it seems to be almost purely pop-rock. So I think they should attempt to discover an actual new direction

The important ones do.

We've got more stadiums capable of putting on Bon jovi, REM, U2, chilli's etc... than the rest of Scotland combined hence why we get all the good gigs

as for changing the band....

stop playing bad medicine and bad name
oh and richie bring back the old sambora strat or get a new signature guitar. for a guy that's realy into guitar rigs it's cool to see him break out alot of cool different guitars and amps each tour and album but every legend should have their trademark guitar.

thats about it i think. not got alot of gripes with the band just now to be honest.
