Keith Urban--maybe Capitol will be smarter this time since they want to market him as a rock star outside the USA.

Brad Paisley--great guitarist to collaborate with Richie.

Kristyn Osbourne (SheDaisy)---great singer, frequent collaborator with John Shanks.

Keith Anderson--new guy who's a big Bon Jovi fan

Big & Rich--they were hanging at the show in Nashville

Kenny Chesney--also hanging in Nashville and supposedly on tap to work on Richie's solo CD.

I'd LOVE to see Brad Paisley collaborate with them.

Hmmm...

Definitely Keith Urban!

Tim McGraw would be awesome!

I also like the SheDaisy girls... great voices.. especially the dark haired one.

Gretchen Wilson perhaps.

As for non-country artists:

Bo Bice

Melissa Etheridge

Saving Jane (love their singers voice)

And how about Chris Daughtry???? That would rock.

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

My initial thoughts for a duets record was them having a combination of artists from the 80s and 90s, plus maybe some recent artists they either like.

Be it country or not, I'm wondering if we'll get country versions of Bon Jovi songs or new tracks? I'm thinking the former.

I think they learned their lesson with TLFR. So this is more or less, if it's a full record, a covers album. Which kind of excites me.

Alison Krauss

And Big & Rich would be a great one that I wouldn't have thought of.

Yeah, Alison Krauss is great! She collaborates with everyone too.

I LOVE Dolly Parton as well. She has a great voice and also does a lot of collaborations.

Alison would sound good with Tico. Not that that would ever happen, but I was thinking about random pairings last night.

Richie would go best with Big & Rich, I think. And it would give him an opportunity to say "we're Big & Rich & Richie" so he could laugh at his hilarity.

I'd also kind of like to hear a collaboration with Nickel Creek. They'd sound really, really good with Jon.

Have you guys heard Dolly's cover of Collective Soul's Shine? It's pretty good.
