I think this whole duets album thing is a misunderstanding.
My take it on it was that they are 'contributing' to this thing rather than it being a whole Bon Jovi duets album.

Wait at least 6 months to start working on the next record, and then by the time it get's out we would all be hungry for more Bon jovi, that means us and the generall public.

I agree. Look at their output since 2000:

2000 Crush
2001 One Wild Night
2002 Bounce
2003 TLFR
2004 Box Set
2005 HAND
2006 possible greatest hits
2007 studio album

Plus this duets album ,if it is in fact a Bon jovi project!

Complete overkill in my opinion.
The band and us need a break before it starts to get very stale!

Does it matter if they've output a lot? If you only include studio albums that is

2000 Crush
2002 Bounce
2005 Have A Nice Day

The other projects surely wouldn't have taken as much to put together for the band themselves, and by the time another studio album is released it could be late 2007, so it isn't like they are going mad working. They are obviously happy to do it and enjoy it, so I don't think they 'need' to take a break at all if they don't want to, and I don't know how you think we need a break No-one forces you to follow their career, to buy their releases and attend their concerts. If you need to take a break from them then it is easy enough to do so, and not suggest they need a break because you're fed up of so many new releases.

Agreed. It TENDS to go "Big album, huge sales promo, little album for the diehards with not much promo, BIG ALBUM huge promo" etc. etc.

Well yea I figured it mite not be as big of a thing as we're making it sound like...Jon did says "Sessions" right? And to my knowledge that means you help with the different instruments that are needed in the studio to be recorded in order to go on an album version of a song...am I right? So that doesnt necesserily mean it's gonna be a whole big thing, it could be some of them or all 4 of them are gonna help out in different places with that down in Nashville...but still the idea of it being a whole big duets thing sounded pretty cool...

You guys all named some really cool people I wouldnt have thought of...
The Big&Rich idea sounds awesome, I like them alot.

And if it wasnt just with country musicians then I'd say somebody like Springsteen or John Mellencamp.....John Fogerty maybe...that'd be cool...
Bret Michaels would be cool...

But I think it is kind of weird to band like Bon Jovi to releashe that much stuff...
They've sold over 100 million album which is about 10 million to one album if Bounce and Hand don't count....
And now they are putting out stuff in every year. I guess their image is going down; they have releashed in five years as much stuff as in their earlier 15 years but the album sales have been like few percent of all...
I think they should go back to studio and make a great album which doesn't live a room for critics.
I don't think that is an aswer to anything to make another Best Of... with this speed the Best Of album is like Crossroads...; No one has even time to listen their new material 'cause they are releashing new one...
Of course they have material to put out a new Best Of but is it wort it 'cause those 3 earlier albums(Crush, Bounce and HAND) haven't get to anybody elses' head than real Bon Jovi fans'
