Default This is beyond perfection ...

I know this has been discussed before, but since things here are so slow ...

Everytime I listen to this I get chills running down my spine ... IMO, This song represents music perfection, and this perfomance is way beyond that ...

yep, best version of this song out there. They were probably 15 years too early writing this song because it would fit into The Circle like a glove. I have this on my iPod and it never gets old.

As much as I loved The Circle, this song would be wasted on that album. The themes are similar but this is a little too artistic to fit amongst the more heavy-handed efforts like 'Work For The Working Man'.

It's amazing to think this song is now 20 years old as it still sounds so fresh. Especially when you think about some of the more recent stuff that already sounds tired and dated.

I wonder why Jon doesn't add some "extras" on that song when is performed live nowadays ... A nice long intro, a speech ... The recent versions sound like - "Ok, you want Dry County, here's the song, let's do it and move on" ...

Because it wouldn' sound natural anymore. I doubt if for Jon the song still got the same meaning as in those times. So I'm happy with 'usual' Dry County..

Yeah, no passion in the song anymore. It's almost like Jon's vibe singing that song is "lets hit these high notes"
