drop d barre bottom 3 strings at fret 7,9,7,9,7,12 repeat or something like that.. And there's a reason why you can't find the chords for it.

I don't think it's drop D. Here's a tab I made of it.

re: Panda: Isn't that the intro riff? Otherwise ya lost me &, 'theres a reason I can't find the chords'......?? Even demos etc can be found on numerous sites......I can't think of a specific reason for it, short of some odd huge legal battle, but even then...'everything' is online, somewhere. So odd that a song of there's that's played in every single hockey game & downloadable for more than anything more than a month or so isn't "tab'd" up anywhere...what am I missing?

re:Cpt Jovi......I'll have to look at your shot when I can get to my PC...thx for the reply I'll update when I can check it out

He's implying that it's crap and not worth tabbing.

It's cheesy as hell but I like it.

ahhh...lol....man, it's been a long day apparently I like it too, and...main reason for wanting chords; my 4 yr old daughter loves singing along with it (she first heard it at a hockey game I brought her to a couple months ago) and she's "recorded" a couple songs with me/her singing & my playing.......

so....even if it were the corniest song in history, still totally worth it to me

That's frigging adorable. It's a kid friendly song for sure.

Just watched the live version that really isn't live. The way Richie plays it is the drop D power chord way.

I'll have to watch the mind numbingly awful video, I don't think I've sat through it more than twice, good call.
