Haha. I'm listening to the Prayer now. It makes me piss myself with laughter. I can't believe they let her "sing" on it.

I NEVER have that urge . . . never ever . . . never ever ever! At this very moment, I'm listening to a bootleg of the acoustic concert in Yokohama that was supposed to be released instead. Do you know how bitter that makes me? Sure Jon had a cold. Big fat hairy deal. It is still SO much better than those horrible cover versions they did of their own damn songs! I swear, if anyone else had done that, they should have been trying to figure out if there was some way they could sue.

And don't even bring up that lounge lizard version of Bed of Roses. Those of us in the U.S. got THAT version of BoR during the tour instead of the gorgeous real one. By the end of the U.S. leg, I was sitting down during that song in protest.

(Of course, in spite of all that hate, I still own 2 copies of TLFR. The first one that I bought before I knew I hated it, and the second one that I HAD to get because it came with a DVD that included a few songs from the Yokohama show. Oh, and I have the DVD from the Borgata, too, which somehow isn't quite as bad as the CD. Sheesh. "Sucker" is written on my forehead, isn't it?)

Yeah, I tend to skip Bad Medicine alot. I hate the way the vocals go from calm, loud, to calm etc.

Listening to it now. I love this version. It can't compare to original of course...

Then talk it up on bonjovi.com. Ask Obie if the UK can have it next time around. Consider it a gift from the U.S. fans who want the real version again!

I can't blame you on the BOR thing. I wouldn't be happy to get that version. This album certainly is not their smartest move, no way. I'm kinda changing my mind now, I'm listening to it right now on my iPod - for the first time inn quite a while. It's actually worse than what I rememberd. I stick with liking the version of BTBMB (atlough it does not even TOUCH the orginal. ) So yeah, I wouldn't be listening to this album too often. But, I don't think it's ABSOLUTELY awful. I could live without it, that's for sure. And if they gave me a version of one of these songs, over the orignial - I too would be bummed.

Oh, but I DO like the DVD. I watch it fairly often actually. The DVD is much better.

No kidding. That's the one song that I don't ever want to hear live again, and I only heard it once.

I have two versions of TLFR as well, and I'm thinking about a third (the SACD 5.1 surround sound version). Never really liked the album, and it's one of three Bon Jovi CDs that I typically can't listen to all the way through.
