bells of freedom was better too altough i never heard the full version cause there was a watermark on that (in a game where scream no-one could here ; alltough the lyrics we're in agame where generals...)

nothing was a lost chance too, alltough i really doubt jon could've nail that live...

I haven't listened to the thing in ages, and I probably only listened to it a few times when it came out. I do remember enjoying the DVD though. I saw one of the half acoustic shows on the Bounce tour so it kind of reminded me of that, plus I also liked the two new ones and thought the clip poker thing was cool. Wanted is my favorite one on the cd, and even that is pretty forgettable. Getting the acoustic versions live on the HAND and LH tour was a snooze fest, especially that version of BOR.

Not the only bad musician Jon picked up around this time...

An Unplugged album would have been much better, I agree about it being so bland in places. At least the band seem to have dropped the notion of playing anything from it. Was it Richie who said recently (not too recent obviously ) about how they loved it but realised the fans didn't?

I might be in a minority here but I think its not bad. I really enjoy some songs from the album. I Believe a choice of different songs would have helped a lot. The songs I do enjoy and love the album for:

It's My Life - It's beautiful, just simply beautiful. I would love to hear this played live, it would be kick ass.

Bed Of Roses - Pretty decent, sounds like a demo of the song. Enjoyable for sure.

Everyday - This was done really well, just like It's My Life. No complaints about this one.

Born To Be My Baby - This was different, very different and I love it. The slow melody in the middle is done very well and I find it beautiful.

Keep The Faith - Once again different and I find it enjoyable but there are parts of it I dislike. Not bad but can be better with changes.

I'll Be There For You - It's is alright but really need changes and could be nice. I believe a change of guitar and piano notes could make it a lot enjoyable.

Always - Same as IBTFY, not bad but could improve a lot with changes. Then again there are like 4 versions of this song already.

The Distance - Definitely my favourite song from the album, I love both the versions of this song. This is on my wishlist of songs I want to hear live.

Off the live album:

Love For Sale - Nicely done!
Misunderstood - Favourite track of Bounce, awesome live version
Someday I'll Be Saturday Night - Pretty cool
Joey - Yes! Really enjoyable, what a great song choice. Lovely Piano work.
Thief Of Hearts - Fun song all around
Blood On Blood - Favourite track on the live album, never get tired of this song and this version is done very well.

So all in all there are song on I dislike but there are songs which I really enjoy and I seem to enjoy more songs than I dislike

I think I was getting mixed up because Dan Huff is credited with production on the country version of WSYCGH, which is track 13 on the IS version.

As much as I like It's My Life on the album I do think Jon is being a bit disingenuous when he says the TLFR version brings out some of the hurt or whatever he says on the DVD.

That song, IMO, was written as an anthem. There was no hurt when it was written. Then they changed the song up in probably the only way they could. It sounded good and then suddenly Jon is talking about the hurt.

He wouldn't know anyway, only Max Martin knows what was behind the song if the rumours are true

At Milton Keynes in 2006 (second night), he claimed they reworked 'Always' on TLFR to help us ''get the lyrics''.

Oh really, Jon? Bugger off.

Don't know how it was written, but I love the TLFR version because of this, you can feel a pain that it's not in the original version. Is a materpiece IMO, both versions!

About Always, it does endeed bring the hurt, and that version it's amazing.
