Here ya go:
Wanted Dead or Alive - Not too shabby becuase it keeps the orignal great acoustic riff. Quite like the electric power chord after the chrous too and then back into the riff. 3/5
Livin' On A Prayer - Oh no, Oliva or Sylvia or whatever she calls herself just doesn't fit in here. Prayer '94 was a much better stripped down version. 0.5/5
Bad Medicine - Quite melodic, not too bad. 2/5
It's My Life - So so. 1.5/5
Lay Your Hands On Me - Don't like it. The "Lay Your Hands On Me..." has lost its power. 0.5/5
You Give Love A Bad Name - Cool version. It's done like an old blues song with Jon singing in a husky voice. The bass line is quite quite chilled out and I like the slide acoustic guitar. I think it's a good "twist" on this song. 3.5/5
Bed Of Roses - Lyrics are still pretty good, but it's lost its power. 1.5/5
Everyday - Didn't like the original, don't like this. 0.5/5
Born To Be My Baby - No, hate it. they've made it into a sappy crappy Westlife style song. 1/5
Keep The Faith - Not too bad. I like the electric riff/solo in the middle of the song. Apart from that it's pretty boring. 2/5
I'll Be There For You - Jon's voice sucks and the whole song is just toooooo sappy. Another Westlife song. 0.5/5
Always - Jon's voice struggles to handle it. Too sappy. 0.5/5
The Distance (Live Acoustic - Bonus Track) - Superb. Possibly even better that the original. Best song on the CD. Jon sings it superbly, and Dave's subtle keyboard riff sounds great. The strings aren't over used and give the song atmosphere and Richie gets a good sound with the acoustic. 4.5/5
Joey (Live Acoustic - Bonus Track) - Perhaps a bit better than the original. Good version to a mediocre song. 3.5/5
Well Krycek if you rate TLFR so highly I'd like to see you rating some of the earlier albums. You'd end up having to give 10/5 for a lot of songs if a lot of TLFR songs are 5/5. I think Bon Jovi should have stuck with their original plans and just made an acoustic CD. The Distance and Joey recorded live sound much better than they do on the Bounce CDs. TLFR was a rip off and I was well pissed off with mine. It might have been ok as a bonus CD to the boxset or something, but as an album by itself at £14 which was what I paid for it, I got bummed big style. Overall it gets 1/5 for shear bravery of releasing it, and I'm being damn right generous there.
