Still tracks like Undivided, Distance, Bounce, Love me back to life, Right side of wrong or Hook me up are among my favorites....
Wow! Good call...I may just have to go and burn me a copy of the New Bounce album!

I like Bounce. In the beginning, I listened to it once and found that I didn't really like it, so I put it back in it's case and there it sat for several months untouched. Then as the Bounce tour was about to start, I thought I had better pop it in again to learn the songs before the tour...and to my surprise I found it a lot more enjoyable than the first time I had heard it. I like most of it now.

No it wouldn't have been better. No Regrets is a decent b-side but nothing more, Standing is a rip off from Lenny Kravitz' Dig In, We Can Dance sounds like a JBJ song instead of a BJ song, and Alive is nothing more but an annoying over the top "rock" song and doesn't sound like Bon Jovi either.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Yeah I know what you mean. I like Misunderstood, and thats a pop song. It's just I like the lyrics and I can relate to it. Although I do see Bon Jovi as more of a rock band though, and your right, mellow is a good word to describe Bounce. I want Bon Jovi to get back to make hard but good rock songs like Bad Medicine, Fear and Hey God, but also great power ballads like Bed of Roses, Always and This Ain't a Love Song.

Default About Bounce, one of my favs.

I have to say that Bounce is one of my favourite BJ albums. My favs are: Slippery and New Jersey but Bounce is up next.

I am crazy about this cd. Love so much the songs: Undivided, The Distance, Bounce, Love me back to life (specially this one), All about lovin' you and Hook me up are among my favorites...

I saw 3 amazing shows on the Bounce Tour and it was so amazing to see the beginning of the show with Bounce and to hear all the other great songs.
The Distance is amazing live and Hook me up also amazing.

Still I think any of the songs mentioned, along with breath, lucky or another reason to believe are better than either open all night or you had me from hello.

Ok! I shall do this once and then deny it forever after.

When I got Bounce, I listened to Open All Night for weeks - half an hour to work and half an hour home from work - no other song.......

I still think, despite the cheesy lyrics, it seems to come from the heart and to me seems like a very genuine song.

When I first heard Bounce, I thought it was the best BJ album. Yup, better than Slippery, better than Jersey, better than Faith and better than These Days. Now, I don't like it so much. It does have some good songs, and I think that Undivided is possibly the best song on the two 21st century albums, but it also has some not so hot songs, and doesn't sound anywhere near like the band is firing all cylinders. As I have stated before, I do actually quite like the direction it is going in, with the heavier guitars and epic balladry, but I don't think it this direction is pursued in as full a manner as it possibly could be. There's also something I don't like about the production that I can't quite put my finger on, its a little bit muffled or something. But all in all, its not a terrible CD
